Instructions

  1. Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm water. Mix the flour and a generous pinch of salt. Then add the dissolved yeast with the water and knead everything well with your hands (at least 10 minutes). Let the dough rest on the table for 10 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, make a garlic oil. To do this, peel the garlic cloves and put them in a measuring cup. Fill up with the sunflower oil and puree with the blender. Then chop the fresh herbs into small pieces.
  3. Now shape 3 baguettes out of the dough and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Slightly cut into the surface of the baguettes. Now pour the garlic oil over it, add the olive oil and spread the herbs really thick on it. Finally, sprinkle the coarse sea salt on the baguettes. The oil should be used in abundance; a slight oil level should be created around the bread. The bread only soaks up as much of the oil as it needs to be baked!
  4. Then let the baguettes rest on the baking sheet for another 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 240 degrees (top / bottom heat).
  6. Now put the tray in the oven and bake the baguettes in 15-20 minutes.
  7. The baguette tastes best when served warm!
