Put the crème fraîche in a bowl. Chop the herbs and garlic very finely, add them and mix all the ingredients together well. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Let it steep in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
It is important that the herb bundles are large. More is better, so if in doubt, buy an extra bundle.
Is ideal as a dip e.g., for baked potatoes or for filling grilled mushrooms. You can also use it to coat thin fish fillets, e.g. cod, roll up, wrap in aluminum foil and grill, then possibly use more dill.
