- Wash the cherries and remove the stalk.
- Wash the lemon with hot water and cut the peeled peel into strips.
- Put the cherries, lemon peel and rock candy in a sufficiently large glass vessel with a tightly fitting lid. Top up with vodka and close tightly.
- This approach now remains in the warm (preferably on the windowsill) for about 2 months to pull through.
- Shake it more often in between so that the sugar can dissolve.
- This approach is then strained through a fine sieve or a cotton cloth.
- Squeeze the cherries lightly.
- Then fill it into clean bottles and let it steep for another 2 weeks.
