Peel and quarter the apple so that the core can be cut out. One large apple corresponds to one serving of applesauce.
Now bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan. Meanwhile, cut the apple into small cubes and add to the boiling water. Now simmer until the apple has softened and 2/3 of the water has evaporated. If the apples are already soft but the water is still there, simply pour off some water.
Puree the apple pieces as desired. Now add half a small banana to sweeten and puree too. Then add some soy milk or cow`s milk and mix with the pureed apples and bring to the boil again a little.
Finally refine with the desired amount of cinnamon. If the applesauce is still too thick, simply add more milk or water. Those who like it a little sweeter can add a tablespoon of honey.
