Instructions

  1. Mix the oat flakes, sunflower seeds, desiccated coconut, ground nuts, sesame and linseed together well. Chop the dates (or other dried fruit) and add them to the mixture along with the salt. Puree the bananas in the blender and add some water, please do not add everything to the bananas at once so that it does not become too runny. Here you have to work with a little feeling. Now add the mashed bananas to the nut mixture. The muesli should not be too mushy, but also not too dry, as it is now roasted in the oven for approx. 1 hour at approx. 160 - 170 degrees. Depending on the humidity and personal taste, it may take a little longer. Turn the muesli several times during the baking time so that the moisture disappears from the muesli. The muesli can be kept for several weeks (if it has been dried well and no longer contains any moisture). If you don`t have sunflower seeds or other ingredients at home, you can also use other ingredients that are currently in stock. You are really very flexible there. The sweetness is created by adding the bananas and desiccated coconut, if you want you can also add some honey or agave syrup to the bananas.
