Instructions

  1. Squeeze the lemon / lime. Pour red wine into a saucepan. Add the spices and sugar. Heat, but do not boil. Let it steep for about 20 minutes over the lowest heat.
  2. Add the lemon / lime juice. Add sugar if necessary. Pour the hot mulled wine into a heat-resistant glass and drink it as hot as possible.
  3. Tip: When a cold starts, this mulled wine is a really good way to nip the cold in the bud.
