I share a recipe for homemade orange liqueur. It turns out sweet and aromatic. You can drink it just like that, or you can add it to baked goods. The cooking process is long, but the result will please!
Grate the zest from 2 oranges using a fine grater.
Squeeze the juice from the oranges.
In a pot, combine 200 milliliters of water with 150-200 grams of sugar. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to medium and simmer for 20 minutes.
Remove the syrup from heat, add the orange zest, and stir.
Add the orange juice and 350 milliliters of vodka, and stir.
Pour the mixture into a clean, sterilized bottle and let it steep at room temperature for 3-4 days.
Strain the mixture through cheesecloth into a clean bottle.
Let the liqueur infuse at room temperature for 3 weeks.
