Homemade Sweets “Bounty” Instructions

  1. Combine condensed milk, melted butter and coconut. Mix everything well. In order for the candies to keep their shape well, the mass must be very thick (you may need a little more coconut flakes). We put the mass in a bag, level it to a thickness of 1-1.5 cm and send it to the freezer for 1 hour.

  2. We take out the coconut mass from the freezer and cut it into rectangular portioned pieces (I got 7 large sweets). We give them a more rounded shape.
  3. Break the chocolate into pieces, add vegetable oil and melt the chocolate in a water bath (or in another convenient way). Dip coconut candies in chocolate and spoon on top with characteristic patterns. At this stage, you need to act quickly, as the chocolate thickens rather quickly.

  4. We send homemade Bounty bars to the freezer for some more time so that the chocolate will set. It is better to store such candies in the refrigerator.
