Instructions

  1. Core the melon cut into eighths, remove the pulp from the skin and cut it into cubes of the same size.
  2. Finely slice the peeled onion.
  3. Mix the vinegar with the spices, add the oil and fold in the melon cubes and onion slices or fennel strips.
  4. Cover and let sit in the fridge for a good 20 minutes and drizzle the port over the salad before serving.
