  1. Halve the lime, cut into slices, mash with a pestle in a large, preheated cup or Haferl (approx. 250 ml capacity). Add brown sugar and lime syrup, and cachaca. Top up with hot water and serve with a straw.
  2. Tip: When pounding the lime, destroy as little of the peel as possible, it has a bitter aftertaste, so don`t cut the lime into eighths, but cut it into slices.
