Cut the sausage into slices that are as thick as toast. In 2 of the toast slices, holes the size of the sausage slices are punched (e.g. with the lid of a tomato market). Fill the holes with the sausage slices. Then put all slices in the toaster for about 2 minutes.
The processed cheese and sauces to taste are now placed on the intact slices. Then come the sausage toast lids.
If you like, you can garnish with pickles and / or fried onions.
