Cut the tomatoes into circles or slices. We spread them on slices of toast bread.
Cover the tomatoes with cheese – put two cheese slices on each sandwich.
Add fresh herbs. Salt and pepper if desired.
Cover with the remaining slices of bread.
Dry the blanks in a hot frying pan for 2-3 minutes on each side, until the cheese melts and a light golden crust of bread. It is possible without a lid.
