Hearty hot sandwiches with potatoes and sausage are prepared very simply and quickly – in a pan. This nutritious snack made from the most affordable ingredients is a great breakfast solution or an addition to a cup of coffee or tea.
Peel the potatoes, wash, coarsely grate and transfer to a deep bowl.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add the egg.
Cut the sausage into thin strips and add to a bowl.
Rinse green onions, dry, chop finely and also send to a bowl.
Mix everything well.
Apply a thin layer of potato mass to each slice of bread.
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwiches in the skillet, potatoes side down. Press down a little, reduce heat to low, and fry the sandwiches for about 5-7 minutes, until golden brown. Then turn over and cook for about 2 more minutes.
