Instructions

  1. Drain the sauerkraut and pull it apart. Leave out some margarine and sauté the sauerkraut in it. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the water and simmer without the lid until there is no more water.
  2. Cook the rice according to the instructions on the packet and drain.
  3. Peel, dice and leave the onion. Add the mince and fry until crumbly, then fold in the rice. Cut the smokers into slices.
  4. Layer sauerkraut, meat and smokers alternately in a greased baking dish. The last layer should be the herb. Mix the crème fraiche with the cream and pour over it. Place the butter flakes on top and sprinkle with the breadcrumbs.
