Peel the onions and garlic cloves. Cut the onions into cubes, crush the cloves of garlic. Halve the pepper, remove the core, wash and cut into cubes. Heat the oil in a saucepan and sauté the onion cubes until they turn yellow. Add the garlic, diced paprika and powder, sauerkraut, bacon, stock and the caraway seeds, cover and cook on low heat for about 40 minutes. Then cut the bacon into slices. With bread, mashed potatoes or boiled potatoes.
