Peel the hunting or ham sausage and cut into approx. 1 cm thick slices. I always buy the sausage that weighs 1 kg and get about 20 slices from it.
Beat the eggs and place on a plate, season with salt, pepper and paprika powder. Here you can also take a schnitzel spice. Put breadcrumbs on a plate as well.
Turn the slices in the egg and then in the breadcrumbs so that they can develop a nice crust all around.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the breaded sausage slices until crispy.
This is served with mashed potatoes with a hunter`s sauce and Bianca`s buttered vegetables.
If there are hunter schnitzel left over, I can freeze these portions and fry them up so quickly. Can also be frozen unroasted.
