Instructions

  1. Cover the peas in a saucepan about 5 cm high with water and bring to the boil. Skim off the foam and continue to simmer.
  2. Cut the pure fat from the bacon and dice it into small pieces. Then cut the remaining bacon, the peeled potatoes and the peeled onion into small cubes. Clean and chop the leek.
  3. First leave the fat bacon in a pan and fry until crispy, add the remaining bacon and onion cubes and brown slightly. Add to the peas, leeks and potatoes. Let simmer for about 1/2 to 1 hour. Season to taste with salt, pepper and Maggi. Serve hot.
  4. Tip: add the sausages depending on your taste.
