Instructions

  1. Grease a springform pan (26cm diameter) with a little rapeseed oil and preheat the oven to 175 ° C (top / bottom heat). Beat the egg white until stiff, gradually adding the sugar. Carefully fold in the almonds and spread the dough into the mold. Bake for 30 minutes on the middle rack until golden brown. Let cool down!
  2. Beat the powdered sugar, vanilla sugar and egg yolks with a hand mixer until creamy. Whip the cream until stiff and fold in carefully. Pour over the bottom and place the cake in the freezer.
  3. Put cocoa, sugar and water in a saucepan, heat and bring to the boil while stirring. Let it boil briefly and then take the saucepan off the stove. Now add the butter and stir well. Let the chocolate icing cool down.
  4. Chop the daim bar into small pieces.
  5. Take the cake out of the freezer and pour the chocolate icing over it, sprinkle pieces of daim over it and put the cake back in the freezer.
  6. The cake should have been in the freezer for at least 5 hours before serving. The cake can be cut frozen without any problems, so you can prepare it and take out 1 or 2 pieces as you like. The cake is eaten ice cold, so it`s great for summer!
