Prepare coffee the day before and freeze it in ice-cream bags.
Score the vanilla pods lengthways and scrape out the pulp.
Put 500ml milk in a saucepan, add vanilla pulp and hollowed out vanilla pods and bring to the boil. Take out the vanilla pods.
Divide the vanilla milk into glasses and let cool.
Froth up the remaining milk. Take the coffee ice cream scoops out of the bags and spread them on the vanilla milk. Pour milk foam over it and add sugar if necessary.
