Instructions

  1. This apple strudel is suitable for a low-fat diet!
  2. If necessary, 30 g melted butter or margarine can be kneaded into the dough!
  3. Sift the flour on a work surface, make a well and drizzle 1 teaspoon of oil on the flour! Pour salt and egg yolk into the hollow and beat with 1 tablespoon lukewarm water!
  4. Using a fork, slowly mix the flour into the ingredients from the middle! Little by little, add the water spoon by spoon and knead into a dough!
  5. Let the dough rest absolutely in a damp cloth for 1 hour!
  6. In the meantime, peel and core the apples and cut into small cubes. Mix with raisins and cinnamon sugar or vanilla sugar and simmer gently for 10 minutes with a little water and honey!

  12. Now roll up the dough from the long side!
  13. Brush the end of the dough with water and press firmly against the roller!
  14. Beat the leftover egg and some water and brush the roll.
  15. Bake in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes at 180 degrees!
