Ingredients
- 1 kg tomato (s), peeled, pitted and cut into cubes
- 1 kg apples, sour, peeled and diced
- 2 large onion (s), diced
- 600 ml vinegar, (apple cider vinegar)
- 1 piece (s) ginger, the size a thumb - one half grated, the other half cut into very fine cubes
- 300 g suar, brown
- 2 piece (s) chilli pepper (s), red and green, cut into fine rings
- 1 tablespoon salt
- Tablespoons black pepper, coarsely ground
Instructions
- Put everything together in a saucepan and boil down the mixture thickly, this takes at least 1 ½ hours.
- Pour hot into hot glasses and let it steep for four weeks - but that`s very difficult, because it tastes so good - also on hard cheese and meat.
