Instructions

  1. Knead the flour, yeast, milk, water, mashed potato powder and salt into a dough. Cover the dough and let rise for 2-3 hours.
  2. Cut the tomatoes into approx. 1 cm thick slices.
  3. Roll out the dough on a baking sheet and press the tomatoes into the dough. Season the tomatoes with salt and pepper. Now brush everything with olive oil and sprinkle the pizza spice over it.
  4. Pre-bake the tray for 12 minutes at 190 degrees, then turn the stove down to 170 degrees and leave the bread in until the desired brownness (approx. 20 to 25 minutes).
  5. The bread tastes warm as well as cold.
  6. There are no limits open to you here as far as occupation is concerned. E.g. also possible: coarse salt and caraway seeds, bacon and onions etc.
  7. I have baked this bread in around 20 different ways.
