Instructions

  1. Skin and dice tomatoes. Heat the oil in a saucepan, dice the onion and celery, sauté. Add tomatoes, tomato paste and bay leaf. Let simmer on a low flame for 10 minutes. Add the basil, salt, pepper, add sugar. Add the crème fraîche, simmer for another 5 minutes.
