Instructions

  1. Mix sugar, flour, cocoa, eggs, baking powder, vanilla sugar, Jack Daniels, sunflower oil to a smooth dough.
  2. If you don`t like the whiskey taste that much, you can only take half a cup of it and replace the rest of the liquid with milk, then the cake will be milder.
  3. Bake the cake in the oven at 180 ° C for about 25 minutes.
  4. For the cream, cut the vanilla pod lengthways. Scrape out the pulp and add the pod to the milk. Heat milk, do not boil, but keep it hot.
  5. Mix the egg yolks with 3/4 of the sugar in a saucepan and beat until frothy. Mix the flour and cornstarch and stir in vigorously. Pour in the hot milk, stirring constantly. Put the saucepan on the stove and bring the cream to the boil while stirring until it thickens. Take out the vanilla pod. Whip the cream with the rest of the sugar until stiff and fold into the vanilla cream.
  6. When the cake has cooled down, you can spread the vanilla cream onto the cake with the help of a cake ring.
