Preheat the oven to 230 ° C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Remove the stalks from the jalapenos and cut them lengthways. Core and remove all partitions. Fill each half of the chilli with cream cheese. You can also mix fresh herbs and / or garlic (my personal favorite!) With the cream cheese beforehand. Then sprinkle the grated hard cheese over it.
Wrap one (or half a slice of bacon or Parma ham, depending on the size of the slices) around a half of the chili. Stick together with a toothpick if necessary.
Place the chilli peppers on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in the oven at 230 ° C for 10-15 minutes. The bacon / ham should be light brown and crispy.
Let cool a little and serve. They can also be eaten cold and are therefore very easy to prepare.
I like these spicy bites on a hot summer`s day with a cold beer or a glass of white wine. They are also very popular at parties.
