Instructions

  1. For the base, stir the first seven ingredients into a smooth batter and distribute evenly on a greased tray or on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  2. For the cream, whip the cream cheese with sugar and amaretto until frothy, add the vanilla sugar and finally add the cherry juice - preferably made from fresh cherries, of course - and carefully fold into the mixture. Of course, you can also use the cherry juice from the glass. Spread the cream on the floor and distribute the previously pitted cherries - halved or whole, depending on your preference - on the baking tray.
  3. While the oven is preheating to 175 ° C, you can devote yourself to the sprinkles.
  4. Simply knead flour, butter (it`s best to use cold ones) and sugar until you get a smooth dough that you can pluck well. If necessary, chill again briefly and then spread over the cake.
  5. When the oven has reached the desired temperature, put the cake in the oven and bake on top / bottom heat for about 30 minutes. The baking time can of course vary depending on the oven and should be adapted to the desired crumble result.
  6. If you like the sprinkles nice and buttery and softer, you should be able to do well with the 30 minutes.
