Instructions

  1. Chop the onion and walnut kernels into small cubes, cut the hand cheese and the washed apple (remove the core) with the skin into pieces. Mix these ingredients with yoghurt and sour cream, season with salt and leave to steep for a while.
  2. Take out of the refrigerator a while before consumption. The Handkässalat tastes good with bread as well as without it as a low-carbohydrate snack.
  3. Yoghurt and sour cream can also be easily replaced with sour cream or vegan products.
  4. The quantities of ingredients are estimated, because I make the hand cheese salad free, you can also add a little pepper and add fresh chives.
