Instructions

  1. The specified quantity is sufficient for approx. 45 pieces.
  2. Knead the dough ingredients together well and wrap in cling film and put in a cool place for about 1 hour.
  3. Roll out the dough thinly and cut out stars. Cut out smaller stars from the middle of half of the stars. Place the stars on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 170 ° C for about 10 minutes.
  4. Warm the quince jelly slightly (must not get too hot, otherwise the jelly will run on the cookies). Brush all the stars with it and place the perforated stars on them and press them lightly.
  5. Mix powdered sugar with lemon juice and decorate the cookies with it.
  6. Let dry and store in a cookie jar. The cookies can be kept for about 4 weeks.
