Peel the carrots and cut into slices. Dice the onion and cut the smoked pork into strips.
Fry the Kasseler a little, but not too hard. Add the onion cubes and sauté a little with the smoked ham over a low heat. Then add the carrot slices and sauté.
Pour in the broth and season with a little pepper. Simmer gently for about 10 minutes.
Thicken the whole thing a little. Finally add the chives and cream. Personally, I still top it off with a little sugar.
There is usually parsley potatoes with it.
It`s really tasty and doesn`t take too much work. With us, enough for 4 good eaters. And if there is anything left over, simply freeze it!
