Boil the potatoes, peel them, cut them into slices and place them in a greased baking dish. Dice the smoked pork, fry in a little oil in a pan and spread over the potatoes. Spread the sauerkraut on top. Prepare the mashed potatoes according to the instructions on the packet, stir in the crème fraîche and spread the puree on the sauerkraut. Finally sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
Bake the casserole at 200 degrees for about 40 minutes.
