- Mix the quark, flour, eggs, sugar, salt, semolina, lemon and possibly a few currants into a dough.
- If you want the dough to be a little firmer, add a little more flour.
- Heat some sunflower oil in the pan.
- I use two tablespoons to portion the dough with one and to scrape it into the pan with the other, as the dough is not malleable.
- Bake the quark pods until golden brown on both sides.
- Sprinkle with sugar and serve with applesauce.
