Add salt, water, and vegetable oil to the egg. Mix. Make a depression in the flour and pour in the eggs.
Knead the dough until smooth, elastic.
While you are preparing the filling, place the dough in a plastic bag and let it sit for 30-40 minutes.
Finely chop the meat for the filling. You can take ready-made minced meat or skip the meat through a meat grinder.
Cut the potatoes into small cubes, add to the meat.
Cut the onion into smaller cubes.
Add onion to meat and potatoes.
Season with salt, pepper and mix well. The filling is ready.
Place the dough on the table and divide it in two.
Roll out one part. Postpone the second one for now. The thickness of the dough rolling is 1-2 millimeters.
Grease the surface of the dough with vegetable oil.
Spread half of the filling over the surface, not reaching the very edge of 3-4 centimeters, then to close the edges.
Wrap the roll carefully. Close the edges. Form the second roll in the same way.
Wipe the surface of the steamer and roll with vegetable oil or melted butter. Place the roll in a double boiler.
Steam cooking time – 50 minutes.
Khanum with meat and potatoes is ready. You can sprinkle khanum with dried herbs and serve with sour cream.
