Instructions

  1. Peel the kohlrabi, cut into sticks or slices, then bring to a boil with water and salt in a saucepan, simmer for about 15 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, prepare the balls. Mix the minced meat with the other ingredients and shape into small balls.
  3. Pour the cooked vegetables through a sieve, collecting the vegetable stock.
  4. Heat the butter in a saucepan, add the flour, stir in the milk and vegetable stock and bring to the boil.
  5. Put the kohlrabi in the sauce, place the balls on top, cover the pot and let everything simmer gently for about 15 minutes over medium heat.
  6. Boiled potatoes and a fresh salad taste great as a side dish
