One of the treasures of the Jewish nation is a delicious kugel (or kugel). The word “kugel” in translation means “round”. The shape of the casserole remains the same, and the content of the kugel is very different. Coals may be sweet and not sweet, fried and baked, but this one is my favorite! And when the smell of apples and cinnamon spreads through the apartment, your head starts spinning and drooling … :))

Kugel with Apples, Raisins and Cinnamon Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to the instructions on the package, discard them in a colander.
  2. Melt butter and add to noodles.
  3. Peel and grate the apples. Toss the noodles with the grated apples.
  4. Beat the eggs. Rinse the raisins. Add cottage cheese, sugar, cinnamon, raisins, and beaten eggs to the noodles. Mix everything well.
  5. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Transfer the cooked mass to a round baking dish and bake the coals for about 1 hour (until crispy). Now the main thing is not to bite off your fingers in the heat of absorbing food. 🙂
