Cut the kumquats into small rings, first the middle, then the sides, so you can better remove the kernels. Marinate the fruits in sugar and vodka for 4-5 hours, put in the refrigerator. You can also use 200 ml of vodka for marinating if there is no orange liqueur in the house. If you have prepared kumquat liqueur yourself, you can mix 100 ml of it with vodka.
Put the various liquids in a tall container and add the marinated fruits.
Tip:
500 g of orange fillets or berries can also be added to the kumquats.
