Open the egg in a bowl and beat it with a fork. Cut the spring onions into thin rings. Mix the egg with the spices and half of the spring onion rings. Heat the butter in a pan and add the egg and spice mixture.
Fry the omelette until golden brown and turn it between meals. Place the finished omelette on a kitchen towel and free it from the fat. Sprinkle the other half of the spring onion rings over the omelette before serving.
