Mix the eggs, add a pinch of salt, a little water and whisk, then add enough flour until the dough is really thick.
Caution: If the dough is too runny, the spaetzle will dissolve in the water, so make it really thick and possibly test it with a spaetzle first.
Boil salted water in a saucepan, cut off the dough with a teaspoon and put it in, let it steep for 15-20 minutes, then drain.
Melt the butter in a pan, add the spaetzle and fry until golden, add a little salt if necessary.
Lettuce with bacon and all other salads are very tasty, but can also be used as a dumpling substitute for roasting or simply eaten with a sauce. Very popular with children, by the way. My son could only live on it.
