Lavash instead of dough is a rather popular substitute. Today we will make a lavash pie with oranges and sour cream filling with condensed milk, shortbread cookies, and coconut flakes. Very simple and fast!
Prepare all the ingredients you need. Turn on the oven to preheat to 170 degrees.
Place the cookies in a blender bowl with a “knife” attachment and grind into crumbs, leaving large pieces.
Combine 150 ml of sour cream with condensed milk in a deep container.
Stir.
Add chopped cookies and 3 tablespoon. tablespoons of coconut.
Stir again.
Peel the orange and cut it into thin semicircles, simultaneously removing the seeds.
Cut the lavash into two parts. Put one piece of lavash in a baking dish (my baking dish is 15×20 cm). Put the sour cream filling with cookies and coconut on top of the pita bread. Smooth and tamp, not forgetting the corners.
Place oranges on top, a couple of slices can be left to decorate the cake. (If the oranges are sour, you can sprinkle them with 1 teaspoon of sugar.)
Cut off the extra edges of the pita bread so that they do not go over the sides. Fold the edges of the pita bread towards the center.
Place the remaining pita sheet on top and hide its edges inward.
Brush the surface of the pie with the yolk.
Send to the oven and bake at 170 degrees for about 20 minutes. Focus on your oven. The top of the cake should be rosy.
Remove the cake from the mold.
While still hot pita bread, brush with the remaining sour cream and sprinkle with coconut. Garnish with orange slices.
Let the pita bread with cookies, coconut, and oranges cool and transfer to a plate. Serve the cake for tea or coffee. Also very tasty with jelly!
