Instructions

  1. Please note: the quantities given are only an approximate guide! Muesli should steep overnight (or at least four hours)! Cut all the fruits into small pieces. Transfer to a bowl and pour multivitamin juice over it until all of the fruit is just covered. (A guide to the bowl: if it is about half full with the fruit, the size is correct) Cover everything with a layer of oat flakes (to taste, for me it is usually 1-2 cm thick). Whip the cream. Mix with quark and vanilla sugar. Carefully pour the quark mixture onto the oatmeal layer and distribute it evenly. Roast the almonds in a pan without fat, pour a little sugar over them and mix well until the sugar has dissolved (be careful, it burns easily!). Spread the roasted almonds on the quark mixture. Cover the bowl with the lid or cling film and put it in the refrigerator, preferably overnight. Tip: We do not only make muesli for breakfast, but also as a dessert at noon or in the evening or as a snack in between, so we like to make 2-3 times the amount. It was even featured on party buffets. It is also very tasty if you also spread 3-4 tablespoons of jam (e.g. lingonberry) on the oatmeal layer. It`s easier if the jam is heated slightly beforehand. The fruit can of course be varied as desired depending on the season and personal taste!
