Instructions

  1. Beat the cream with the vanilla sugar until stiff. Carefully stir in the cream cheese and add the powdered sugar. Mix everything into a smooth cream.
  2. For the brittle, carefully caramelize the sugar in a pan and melt the butter in it. To mix the butter with the sugar, turn the pan carefully and slowly. In no case stir! When the butter has melted and the sugar has turned brown, add the chopped almonds. Do not let the mass get too dark. Let the brittle cool.
  3. Drain the cherries.
  4. Put alternately a layer of cherries in a dessert bowl or glass, sprinkle with brittle and top with a layer of cream. Then again cherries, brittle and cream etc.
