Peel the apples and cut into thin wedges, add 3-4 tablespoons of water and, depending on the degree of acidity of the apples, sugar and a pinch of cinnamon in a saucepan and cook over low heat. If you don`t want to do the work of making applesauce yourself, you can also use a glass of applesauce for the sake of simplicity.
Put the cooled puree in a bowl and place the crumbled speculoos on top. Mix the vanilla pudding powder with a little cold milk until smooth, bring the remaining milk to the boil, stir in the mixed powder and bring to the boil. Then pour over the speculoos so that everything is covered. Chill the finished dessert.
