Instructions

  1. Steam the peas until they are crisp but no longer raw. Season with a little salt and melt 1 teaspoon butter over it. Let cool and transfer to a bowl.
  2. Peel the carrots and grate them into narrow strips. Spread on the peas. Cut or pick the iceberg lettuce into small pieces and layer on top of the carrots. Drain the corn well in a sieve, then add it to the salad. Cut the ham into small cubes and distribute well on the corn. Drain the pineapple pieces, collecting the juice. Place the pineapple pieces evenly on the ham. Boil the eggs hard (10 minutes), then leave to cool, peel and cut into slices. The pineapple pieces are now evenly covered with the egg slices.
  3. The cream of the salad is mixed with a few tablespoons of the pineapple juice. Add enough pineapple juice to create a semi-liquid mass. Miracel Whip has a very balanced and spicy taste, so there is usually no need to add seasoning.
  4. Pour the sauce evenly over the eggs so that everything is well covered. Finally, cover the sauce with the grated cheese and let it steep in the refrigerator for a few hours.
  5. The addition of the pineapple juice creates a sweet and sour sauce that harmonizes perfectly with the taste of the other ingredients. If you want to enjoy reduced calories, you can also take the balance or yoghurt version of Miracle Whip.
