Wash the potatoes, cook them with the skin on in salted water, then peel them and grate them on a coarse grater. Boil the eggs hard, peel them and grate them just as roughly. Cook the chicken breast fillet in salted water, then cut into small pieces. Cut the pickles and onions into small cubes.
On a large flat plate or a small tray, the salad is layered in the form of a pineapple:
1st layer: potatoes
2nd layer: onions
3rd layer: half of the chicken
4th layer: gherkins
5th layer: Remaining meat
6th layer: cheese
7th layer: eggs
Season each layer with salt and pepper in between. At the end, coat everything properly with mayonnaise and pay attention
that the layers form an oval circle, just the shape of a pineapple.
Finally, place the walnut halves on the salad and put the spring onions in at one end like the head of a pineapple.
If you like, you can also layer fresh pineapple pieces with the salad. But I like it better without it.
