Instructions

  1. Wash, clean, spin or drain the lettuce. Peel the mango, cut along the core and roughly dice the pulp. Dice the feta cheese in the same way. Cut the spring onions into thin rings.
  2. Mix the broth with the oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and mustard. The broth should taste nice and strong and can still be warm. I usually use granulated broth, but vegetable broth is also possible. If the dressing is not sour enough, you can add a little lemon juice. Goes very well with the mango.
  3. Halve the garlic clove and rub the salad bowl with it or, if you like more garlic flavor, press it directly into the dressing. Put the lettuce in the bowl and spread the mango and feta cubes on top, mix with the dressing, sprinkle with the spring onions and grind black pepper over it.
  4. The combination of feta cheese and mango is really great in my opinion! Super refreshing in summer only with bread or e.g., to grilled / fried poultry.
