Instructions

  1. Peel boiled potatoes from the day before or freshly boiled potatoes and cut into approx. 0.5 cm thick slices. Peel the onion and cut into thin slices. Fry the potato and onion slices together in a sufficiently large pan in a little vegetable oil, sprinkle with the caraway seeds. Fry the fried potatoes for approx. 8-10 minutes over medium to high heat, swirling occasionally.
  2. In another pan, fry the eggs with fried eggs over medium heat, at the same time fry the Leberkäse on both sides in a third pan so that it browns nicely. The fried eggs don`t need to be turned, if you can see how the yolk is simmering, they`re done.
  3. Season the fried potatoes with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper and fry for another 3 - 4 minutes over a high heat until crispy.
  4. Now arrange everything on plates, place the fried eggs on the meat loaf and sprinkle with a little salt and pepper.
