Instructions

  1. Mix the sugar, eggs and margarine together. Mix the flour and baking powder and fold into the egg mixture. Then add the lemon juice.
  2. Grease the glasses and lightly flour them. Then fill 2/3 of the dough into the jars and place in the cold oven on a baking sheet without the lid. Before doing this, clean the edge.
  3. Heat the oven to 175 degrees and bake for about 45 minutes. Test with a chopstick to see if the cakes are ready.
  4. Serve the cake in the glass.
  5. As a gift: close the lid with the sealing ring and clips while it is still hot.
