Instructions

  1. For the filling, mix butter with milkmaid, lemon zest, lemon juice and cornstarch in a small saucepan. Bring to the boil while stirring and then allow to cool.
  2. For the dough, mix flour with baking powder and sift into a bowl. Mix with sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, cinnamon and desiccated coconut, then add the butter. Process the dough with a hand mixer first on a low, then on a high level into crumbles of the desired size.
