Muffins can be called traditional pastries for tea drinking, as despite the fact that they are very easy and quick to prepare, they turn out to be tasty and aromatic. Here’s a recipe for lemon muffins.
Beat softened butter with sugar using a mixer. Add eggs and beat again. Add the grated lemon zest and the juice of half a lemon.
Add milk and blend with a whisk. Combine the sifted flour with baking powder and poppy seeds. Mix the liquid part with the dry part.
Line the muffin mold with paper cuffs, pour the dough into them on 2/3 of the mold volume and send to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
