Melt the butter in a pan and add a little olive oil. Add the thyme. Rub the zest of the lemon into the pan and squeeze the juice. Mix in the pasta and drizzle a little olive oil over it. Grind the salt and pepper over it, add the freshly grated Parmesan and serve immediately!
The quantities given are based on a proper Italian intermediate course. As a main course, I recommend a little more pasta from my own experience.
