Instructions

  1. This is a very simple, but very tasty, lentil soup recipe.
  2. Put the lentils (none that you have to soak beforehand) in a saucepan, fill up with water and season with pepper and broth. Cook according to package instructions (30 to 40 minutes).
  3. Meanwhile, dice the soup greens (or just take a small pack of frozen vegetables) and add to the lentils as soon as they boil. Pierce the meatballs several times and also add to the boiling lentils.
  4. Peel the potatoes, cut into pieces and cook with salt and a little broth until cooked through and then roughly mash so that there are still small pieces. When the lentils are done, remove the meatballs and cut them into slices just like the sausages.
  5. Add the mashed potatoes, meatloaf and sausages to the lentils and stir in. Season to taste with pepper, salt and vegetable stock.
